The chaos reaches its peak during Kang Jinyoung's funeral, an event that is anything but peaceful. As Taepoong serves as the chief mourner, his expression is stoic, almost numb.
The solemnity is violently shattered when debt collectors from a partner company storm in, demanding repayment and even attempting to steal the condolence money box.
"Debt, debt! President Kang fell over because of an overflow of debt. What can we do with the rumors spreading in the market! We have to take that!" they shouted.
Overwhelmed and disillusioned, a defeated Taepoong tells his best friend, Wang Nammo (Kim Minseok), to just hand it over, sarcastically asking why they would cause a scene over a few bucks while the man they worked with lies cold just feet away.
This is where Kim Minha's character, Oh Mi Seon, brilliantly steps in. As the sharp and principled accounting manager of Typhoon Trading, she becomes Taepoong's unexpected defender. She doesn't back down, instead pointing out legal errors.
"What kind of attempted crime is this? The condolence money is not company funds, but the president's personal funds. This is theft," Kim Minha replied.
Her quick thinking and courage in the face of aggression temporarily shield Taepoong from the vultures, giving him a crucial moment of respite in the storm.

Lee Junho Discovers the 10 Million Won Legacy
With the funeral over, Taepoong is left to pick up the pieces of his father's company. While visiting the office, he discovers a mysterious key hidden in a framed family photo, leading him to a secret safe his father kept. With a password hint from Oh Miseon "2072," the year his father dreamed of building a century-old company, he finally unlocks it. Expecting gold or crucial business documents, he is stunned to find something far more personal which is several bankbooks, including one with his own name on it.
This is where the emotional dam breaks. The bankbook reveals that his father, despite their constant conflict, had been secretly saving 300,000 won for him every single month. The account had grown to nearly 10 million won (9.9 million). Along with it was a heartfelt message from his father.
"To my son, Taepoong, I support your dreams. You are always the person I love the most. I just wanted to let you know that only the things you personally overcome and achieve can be called mine," that’s what the father wrote in his letter.
This was the recognition he had always craved. Overcome with a flood of regret and understanding, Taepoong finally sobs, uttering the words, "I miss you. Dad, I'm sorry."
This profound discovery becomes a turning point. The very next day, a transformed Kang Taepoong returns to Typhoon Trading with a new resolve. He asks Oh Miseon for help.
"I think I just wanted a little recognition from my father, but now I think I understand a little bit what my father thought was important," said Kang Taepoong.
When she asks what that is, he declares with conviction, "Typhoon Boss. That's why I want to become a real employee. A real employee of Typhoon Boss." He is no longer the reluctant heir but a son determined to honor his father's legacy and protect the company his father loved.
